Important news for SSC candidates: the Staff Selection Commission has released the admit cards for the SSC Selection Post Phase 12 recruitment exam. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website, ssc.gov.in. The exam will be held from June 20 to June 26, 2024, at designated centers nationwide, aiming to fill a total of 2,049 vacancies across various positions.
When will the exam be held
The SSC Selection Post Examination Phase 12, 2024, will be conducted nationwide on June 20, 21, 24, 25, and 26. In total, 69 exam centers have been designated in UP and Bihar, with 45 centers in UP and 24 in Bihar. Over 2.4 million candidates from UP alone are expected to participate in this examination.
How many posts will be recruited
Through this recruitment process, a total of 2,049 vacancies will be filled. Among these, 456 positions are reserved for the Other Backward Classes (OBC), 1,028 for the General category, 255 for the Scheduled Castes (SC), 124 for the Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 186 for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
Selection Process
The selection process includes a computer-based test, a skill test, and document verification. The exam will consist of 100 questions evenly distributed across four sections: General Awareness, General Intelligence, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude. This examination will be out of a total of 200 marks. Candidates will receive 2 marks for each correct answer and incur a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.

After entering the exam hall, candidates will have to show their admit card.
Without admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall.
Candidates who qualify the CBT will have to pass the skill test.
Those who qualify the skill test will have to appear for the document verification process.

Step 1– First of all go to the official website of SSC.
Step 2– Go to the ‘Admit Card’ section.
Step 3– Select your region from the list of regional websites.
Step 4– Enter your registration number and date of birth.
Step 5– Verify the input and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 6– SSC Selection Post Admit Card will appear on the screen.
Step 7– Download it and keep a print with you.
